Author Guidelines
Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Thank you for considering the Journal of Microbial Insights for the publication of your research. Please adhere to the following guidelines when preparing your manuscript for submission:
- Manuscript Structure:
- Title Page: Include the title of the paper, author(s) names and affiliations, corresponding author's contact information (including email address), and any acknowledgments.
- Abstract: Non-Structured abstract: Provide a concise summary of the study, including objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. The abstract should not exceed 250 words.
- Keywords: Include 3-6 keywords that best describe the content of the paper.
- Introduction: Clearly state the research question, objectives, and significance of the study.
- Materials and Methods: Describe the experimental design, methodologies, materials used, and statistical analyses in detail to allow for reproducibility.
- Results: Present the findings of the study in a logical sequence using tables, figures, and graphs where appropriate.
- Discussion: Interpret the results in the context of existing literature, address limitations, and propose future research directions.
- Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and their implications.
- References: List all sources cited in the manuscript using APA 6th edition style using reference manager like Endnote, Mendeley, Zotero etc.
- Formatting Guidelines:
- Font: Times New Roman, 12-point font size, double-spaced throughout the manuscript.
- Margins: Use 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides of the page.
- Page Numbers: Number all pages consecutively, beginning with the title page.
- Headings: Use descriptive headings to organize the content of the manuscript.
- Figures and Tables: Ensure that all figures and tables are cited in the text and placed within the manuscript, not at the end.
- Supplementary Material: Include any supplementary data as appendices after the references section.
- Submission Process:
- Submit your manuscript electronically through the journal's online submission system.
- Ensure that all files are in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
- Include a cover letter detailing the significance of the study and confirming that the manuscript has not been submitted elsewhere.
- Ethical Considerations:
- Ensure that the research complies with ethical standards and guidelines.
- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest or funding sources.
- Peer Review Process:
- All submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous peer review by experts in the field.
- Reviewers evaluate the scientific merit, originality, and clarity of the manuscript.

- Upon acceptance, authors will be required to transfer copyright to the Journal of Microbial Insights.
